Castle visit
Dear Visitors,
The Ugron Castle in Filiaș (Fiatfalva) operates under winter opening hours until 31 March: open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Walking ticket:
The castle's Renaissance garden and English park are always open to visitors during opening hours, while the interior spaces including the chapel, the cross-vaulted cellar, and stunning ballrooms, are accessible depending on ongoing events.
Guided Tour Without Prior Registration:
From 1 April to 31 October, we offer a 1-hour guided tour of the castle every day at 12:00 PM. During the tour, you will learn about the renovation details and the architectural periods of the castle. Depending on ongoing events, visitors may also explore highlights of the interior spaces. The tour concludes with a projection in the historic cross-vaulted cellar.

Student Ticket:
For school groups, the guided tour offers a 1-hour program at a pre-arranged time, accompanied by a teacher.
Students will gain historical insights into the castle's past and present. The tour includes visits to the castle’s rooms, the chapel, and, depending on ongoing events, they can also explore highlights of the interior spaces. The experience concludes in the historic cross-vaulted cellar with an interactive quiz game.
Group visit
(10-40 people)
An ideal stop during a journey through Szeklerland. With prior registration, we offer a 1-hour guided tour in Hungarian, Romanian, or English. Starting in the Renaissance garden and continuing to the English park, we narrate the castle’s history and highlight its architectural periods and restoration details. Depending on ongoing events, the tour may include the castle's interior highlights. We answer any questions of interest over refreshments or coffee. The tour concludes in the historic cross-vaulted cellar with a projection. For a more indulgent experience, choose our "Nemes" package, featuring homemade spreads, like zakuszka or creamed aubergine.

Taking photos in the castle
Visitors are welcome to take photos for personal use in the castle rooms or the castle park during their visit.
For professional photo sessions (e.g., weddings), the garden, the rooms, or one of the ballrooms of the castle can be reserved for 500 RON/session at a pre-arranged time.
