The Ugron Castle in Filiaș is both a historic building and a monument, located in a wonderful natural environment. The castle can be considered a meeting point of past and present, where details unearthed during archaeological excavations (memories of ancient times) blend with modern elements. The spacious ballrooms, the interiors of the rooms and the romantic English park exude noble elegance. Your wedding within the walls of our castle will always be memorable for you and your guests!

Book accommodation for your wedding guests with us and enjoy the entire castle for the weekend!We have 12 comfortable rooms with private bathrooms available for our guests. We provide free parking for our guests in our secure parking lot with 32 spaces. There is also the possibility for charging electric cars.

  1. civil weddings can be organised in the castle park
  2. a church wedding can take place in our chapel according to Catholic ceremony (limited capacity)
  3. grand entrance of the newlyweds with a horse-drawn carriage into the courtyard
  4. standing reception/ toasting in the castle's ancient tree garden or in the historic cellar
  5. photo shoot in a romantic setting in the castle garden (with swing, lights, benches)
  6. rooms available for the preparation of the bride and groom (dressing rooms)
  7. "courtyard" wedding in the event tent set up in the ancient tree garden (suitable for accommodating 120-150 guests)
  8. brunch with the staying guests the next day
  9. shuttle service provided to the airport or other distant cities

Payment terms/Reservation:

  1. the booking is finalised by the payment of a deposit of 50% of the total amount specified in the contract
  2. we reserve the right to change prices in the contract (in case of significant increases in raw material or utility prices between the booking and the event)
  3. after the reservation, the deposit is non-refundable, but the date can be changed once depending on the castle's available capacity
  4. a 10% service charge will be applied to the final amount of food and beverage consumption
  5. our event offers are valid from 17:00 to 3:00. Early start (before 17:00) or extension (after 3:00) is possible upon individual agreement.
