Town awards presented in Cristuru Secuiesc (Székelykeresztúr)
As part of the Town Days and Petőfi Week in Cristuru Secuiesc (Székelykeresztúr), a ceremonial council meeting was held during which the following awards were presented: honorary citizenship, Pro Cultura, Pro Urbe, and Nature Guardian of Cristuru Secuiesc (Székelykeresztúr). These awards were given to individuals living in or connected to the town who have contributed to the community’s welfare and helped spread the good reputation of Cristuru Secuiesc (Székelykeresztúr) around the world.
The ceremonial council meeting was held at the recently renovated and newly opened Ugron Castle in Filiaș (Fiatfalva). In addition to the local town council members and invited guests, representatives from twin towns also attended the event. Delegations from Pestszenterzsébet, Balatonkeresztúr, Ajka, Kunszentmiklós, and Derecske, as well as representatives from Moldava nad Bodvou (Szepsi) in Slovakia, were also present at the awards meeting
