Heritage Days
These programmes are aimed at groups interested in traditional Transylvanian lifestyle and culture. In this programme, participants can learn about local crafts, flavours and traditions
Active days in nature
For our more active guests we offer the following activities:
- Welcome drink upon arrival and brief introduction to the history of the castle.
- Dinner with traditional Transylvanian dishes and local specialities at the castle restaurant.
- Exploring the hills and forests surrounding the castle by e-bike with a tour guide.
- Three-course dinner at the castle restaurant.
- Local history hiking tour in the Ținutul Sării region, where you can learn about the local culture and natural beauty. Excursion in the Salt Canion and at the Salt Lakes.
- Optional visit to the Praid Saltmine.
- Leisure activities, relaxation, walks in the castle's ancient forest park or perhaps reading a good book (Optional idea: horseback riding at a nearby stable)
- Optional picnic or barbecue in the castle garden
- Farewell to the castle of Filiaș and departure to Sighișoara. Walking tour in the Medieval Town, visiting the Medieval Fortress, the famous Church on the Hill and the Clock Tower.

- Optional bear watching at the foothills of the Harghita Mountains (the price does not include transportation costs)

- Dinner with traditional Transylvanian dishes and local specialities at the castle restaurant.
- Visit to a traditional pottery workshop in Corund, where participants can learn the secrets of pottery craftsmanship.
- Optional lunch at the Water Mill and Trout Restaurant in Corund
- Dinner in the castle restaurant.
- Visit to the Straw Hat Museum in Crișeni, where participants can learn about traditional straw hat making and can admire the museum's collection
- In the castle restaurant a 3-course dinner is served with authentic Transylvanian cuisine and folk music. Local musicians will entertain the group with traditional tunes.
- Traditional heritage programmes in the castle courtyard, including archery, whip cracking and furniture painting.
- After dinner, a dance evening will be held in the castle ballroom, where participants can learn traditional Transylvanian folk dances.
